John Mburu serves as the Lead at Expertise Global Institute, bringing over eight years of extensive experience in academia, development, and the private sector to the table. With a strong background in critical public policy areas such as public finance, international trade, gender, and poverty, he has collaborated with both local and international organizations to tackle pressing global challenges. Additionally, he is the founding chairperson of The Econometrics Association of Kenya, a professional body uniting members from academia, government, and the private sector. Having earned a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Econometrics from Kenyatta University, John is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics at the same institution
