Conduct Kenya Public Expenditure and Financial Accountability (PEFA) Assessment.
The project’s goal was to support the PFMR Programme through the execution of a thorough PEFA assessment. Key activities within the project comprised:
- Providing training sessions to stakeholders at both national and subnational tiers, familiarizing them with the PEFA framework to establish a shared understanding of the assessment procedure.
- Carrying out on-site inspections and investigations to validate the accuracy of performance data.
- Documenting rationales or explanations for specific instances of underperformance or overperformance.
- Collaboratively reviewing and amalgamating findings as a team, while coordinating various project activities.
- Presenting assessment outcomes to stakeholders to ensure coherence and comprehension of the evaluation process.
- Compiling an exhaustive Country PEFA report summarizing the assessment findings.
